Colour Pop

Since it's been raining and a bit grey this week, I picked up these beautiful coral pink flowers to brighten up the living room. Sometimes all you need to put you in a good mood and lift your spirits is a small blast of amazing colour, whether it's in the form of a few simple flowers, a new pair of bright shoes or freshly painted nails in a pretty shade.

Golden Age

I just can't seem to get enough of gold accents at the moment. On everything. I need more gold in my life. Asap.

La Dolce Vita

It's cold, wet and generally miserable outside today so to cheer myself up I'm making a big tall glass of Campari & orange juice and imagining I'm somewhere hot and amazing off the coast of Italy. These are a few pics of some of the amazing food and spectacular places from our trip there in summer. I was so taken with the Italian's laid back lifestyle and nonchalant approach to life. They really have an appreciation for the simple things in life: good food, great wine and beautiful, picturesque surroundings. Those Italians really are too cool for school.

 

Can't Get Enough: Peonies

It's peony season, hooray! Peonies are available for what seems like about 2 hours every year and I absolutely love them and have to have them in my house as much as possible. They are so bright and beautiful and something about the way each bloom turns out different makes them seem so special. The colours are simply gorgeous and you can't help but be in good mood when theres peonies in the room.
I picked up a bunch from Borough Market today and also had to have these amazing dahlias aswell. Stunning.
